1) First open the upper cover of the water tank of the water ring vacuum pump, add clean tap water from the water in the middle partition and seal the water until the water level rises to the scale.

2) Turn on the power of the water ring vacuum pump, plug the power cord and the connecting end of the machine body into the socket on one side of the machine body, make them fit firmly, and then plug the other end of the power cord firmly into the socket of the power supply.

3) For the vacuum operation of the water ring vacuum pump, tightly connect the exhaust sleeve of the vacuum equipment to be vacuumed to the exhaust nozzle on one side of the machine body; check the water ring switch of the water ring vacuum pump to turn it off, and then start the power switch to start the vacuum operation. Observe the vacuum meter to read the indicated vacuum reading.

4) The water ring vacuum pump provides circulating cooling water. When providing water ring cooling water to the reaction device, connect the sleeve to the water ring outlet nozzle on the other side of the machine, and then put the other end on the reaction device that needs circulating cooling water. Start the water ring outlet switch to realize the supply of circulating cooling water.

5) Natural external circulation of the water ring vacuum pump-when the machine is to operate for a long time, in order to prevent the increase of water ring temperature and affect the vacuum effect. The water ring vacuum pump can connect the drain hose to the tap water, connect the water outlet with a hose and put it into the water to control the tap water flow, so that it forms a natural external circulation state, and continuously replenish and replace clean tap water to keep the water ring temperature from rising too much, so as not to affect the vacuum effect.

III. Precautions for the use of circulating water vacuum pumps

1) The water tank must be filled with water before starting the machine, and the inlet valve of the water circulation vacuum pump is opened. Dehydration, idling and reversing are strictly prohibited to prevent damage to the machine seal and pump.

2) Before use, carefully check whether the fasteners of each part are loose. If there is any looseness, they must be corrected and tightened.

3) For the steam-water series jet pump, open it first and then turn on the steam. Turn off the steam first when shutting down to prevent damage to the water jet pump. When installing the steam pipeline, ensure that there is no water accumulation in the pipeline and it must be kept level, otherwise it will affect the vacuum degree.

4) Before shutting down, vent or reduce the vacuum degree to below 0.092Mpa, then shut down to prevent the vacuum from being too high and causing back suction, which may damage the check valve. If the check valve fails, please open the check valve cover to remove debris.

5) The water temperature of the circulating water pool is too high, which will affect the exhaust volume and vacuum degree. It needs to be replaced or replenished in time.

  1. What to do if the circulating water vacuum pump cannot be pumped

When using a circulating water vacuum pump, sometimes you may encounter a situation where it cannot be pumped. There are many possible reasons. Just check the reasons and perform maintenance:

  1. Low vacuum degree

(1) There are foreign objects in the vacuum bottle. Clean them out.

(2) The threads at the connection between the two sections of the vacuum bottle are loose. Tighten them by hand.

(3) There are foreign objects in the check valve. Remove and clean them.

(4) The water inlet under the pump head of the vacuum pump is blocked. Clean it.

  1. The vacuum gauge does not move or jumps

(1) The vacuum gauge does not move. It may be caused by the blockage of the air hole at the rear of the vacuum gauge. Remove the vacuum gauge and clean it.

(2) If the needle jumps, it means that the check valve or vacuum bottle is leaking. Clean the check valve and tighten the two threads of the vacuum bottle.

  1. Abnormal motor start-up

(1) If the motor does not start, it may be caused by the power not being connected or the fuse being blown. Connect the power or replace the fuse.

(2) After the motor is connected, the motor makes a buzzing sound but does not start. Cut off the power immediately, then turn the wind wheel in the motor cover by hand for a few turns.
