Components of magnetic pumps

Magnetic pump is composed of three parts: pump, magnetic coupling and driving motor. The left end of the pump shaft is equipped with an impeller and the right end with an internal magnetic rotor, and the pump shaft is supported by a sliding shaft. When the motor drives the outer magnetic rotor to rotate, the magnetic field passes through the air air gap and the isolation sleeve, driving the inner magnetic rotor to rotate synchronously.
1. Pump:
Pumps are usually made of corrosion-resistant, high-strength engineering plastics, corundum ceramic stainless steel, etc., which have good corrosion resistance and can keep the medium being conveyed free from contamination. Such as CQB series magnetic pump contact with the conveyed liquid part is made of chemical-resistant fluoroplastic alloy. Fluorine plastic alloy consists of ultra-high molecular weight polyperfluoroethylene propylene (PFPE) which can be thermoplastic processed and more than one kind of other plastics blended together, and fillers can be added. For example, plastic alloys composed of UHMW PFPE and PTFE are manufactured by dry powder co-milling or dry powder wet co-milling blending methods. It is processed into various products by hot pressing or cold pressing and sintering, which overcomes the shortcomings of PTFE in cold flow and easy deformation, and can prolong the service life.
2.Magnetic coupling
Magnetic coupling is the key component to realize contactless torque transmission and thus to achieve no leakage. Generally, there are two forms: disk-shaped and cylindrical. As the disk-shaped coupling by two face-to-face ring magnet and its spacer in the composition of the two ring magnets between the presence of axial force, especially in the power is large, the axial force is very large, to overcome it is very tricky, – generally less used. Cylindrical coupling including external magnetic rotor, internal magnetic rotor and spacer (away from) 3 parts, the external magnetic rotor and motor connection, and in the atmosphere, the internal magnetic rotor and the pump shaft into a body, the entire rotor is contained in the pump casing and the spacer and submerged in the conveying medium, the spacer in the internal and external rotor in the middle and fixed in the pump casing, so that the magnetic pump casing and isolation of the spacer inside the formation of a connected completely sealed chamber. The magnets are closely arranged along the circumference on the outer cylindrical surface of the inner and outer magnetic rotor, forming a “combined push-pull magnetic circuit”.
Cylindrical couplings should pay close attention to the position between the inner and outer magnetic rotors during design, processing and assembly, otherwise radial force will be generated. This radial force not only affects the transfer of torque, but also has a direct impact on the life of the bearings, and in serious cases, will make the magnetic coupling can not work. The key to solving this radial force is to ensure that the internal and external magnetic rotor should have the necessary coaxiality. In addition, in the magnetic pump assembly and disassembly, there should be special fixtures and tools to protect the personnel and parts of the rabbit was bumped and bruised.
3. Drive motor
The motors used in magnetic pumps are common motors, and the special requirements are selected according to the regulations.
